The most rewarding aspect of AnnieWear is that portions of our sales are passed on to animal rescues. We actively search out those wonderful organizations who are struggling and our goal is to support them as much as we can.

It is the main reason we started AnnieWear. There are so many animals like Annie out there, who just want to bring happiness and joy to a family such as yours. They offer so much in return for a loving home.

So with every purchase, you can feel good that you have helped an animal in need through the support of animal rescues.

Saturday, March 27th: AnnieWear became an angel sponsor for this poor little guy.

The owner of the rescue sent along the following about him:

"Cosby was abandoned at a car wash along with another golden we think may have been his Mom. Another rescue rescued his Mom, but Cosby was left behind. Cosby is now in quarantine at a West Virginia vet hospital as he became quite sick after our volunteer pulled him from the shelter. We need help with his vet/boarding bills - we think he will be fine - and will be well enough to travel by next weekend."

The image is of Cosby resting after leaving the shelter.

April 21, 2010 - Cosby has completely recovered and now lives very happily in a foster-to-adopt home in Virginia. He is almost well enough to be neutered, and that may happen as soon as next week. He’s probably about to be adopted, too!

Sunday, May 2nd: AnnieWear makes its debut at the 20th Annual SPCA Walk for the Animals, in Annapolis, MD.

With sunny weather bringing out record crowds, the annual walk in Quiet Waters Park supports the Anne Arundel Country animal rescue organization with pledges and donations from thousands of attendees.

During the event, Annie was in our booth greeting a steady stream of animals passing by with their families. It was a massive celebration of pets and their people, and dozens of booths highlighted local vet and shelter organizations, as well as pet business and support groups. The diversity of people and their animals was amazing and it was a great time for children and adults as well.

We hope everyone had as much fun as we did. Needless to say, Annie slept soundly the rest of the day, as she was overwhelmed by so many new smells and whiskers.
